There are exceptions to every rule but generally speaking there should be at least 250 to 300 words per page. Any less than this and you are going to struggle with effective keyword density and run the risk of spamming the page with a long list of keywords that will not make sense to human readers.
Your web pages should be updated on a regular basis. It is a good idea to add content whenever you can.
If it is possible on your site, you will want to create a separate and distinct page for every keyword. For example, if you have 12 keywords, you will need at least 12 pages and each page should be optimized for one of the keywords using the density rule of about 4 percent.
By optimizing each page for one keyword or phrase, you are giving Google a clear indication that each page has a clear and distinct message. That results in individual pages having their own Page Rank in the Google search engine.
Here is a tip for you to do early in your efforts to become an Internet Marketing professional.
Writing good Web copy is hard but the time you spend perfecting the copy of your offer will result in a more successful Web site. Don’t think of it as needing to rewrite your entire site. Start small and the task will be manageable. Start with your best product or service offering and begin with that page. Remember to consider keyword density as it is important. Also be sure your keywords are used in the initial paragraph and throughout the remaining copy of the page. Once you have revised a page, pick the next one to review and revise. Keep up this process and all pages on your website have been written the correct way to be No 1 on Google.
